The helmet camera market exploded in 2000, with GoPro coming out as the clear leader. I joined the UK based team of Drift Innovation, a camera company who looked to get a slice of that Billion dollar market. The Drift POV camera went beyond the normal application of a helmet camera, as it’s design allows the user to frame the shot like no other camera on the market. With a side display and rotating lens, it allows the user to compose the shot as well as review it instantly. It takes an 11 MP still image as well as 1080p HD video. A lot of the shots here were just a still frame from video.
Video edits in Adobe Premiere, and Motion Graphics in Adobe After Effects.
