As a Digital Event Director, my primary role with Digitell, Inc. and then BroadcastMed was to work with their varied clients to successfully translate their production vision into a reality. This included capturing interviews or live streaming events, both in a studio environment or at a venue.
This was a large scale WordPress website migration from a theme and build that had way too many plug-ins. We started with a sand-box site and a new more robust theme. We then took the existing data and fashioned it into the new theme and feature rich plug-ins.

Skiing Photography – Slopestyle. Taking action shots of skiers who absolutely shred is a joy for me. It can be hard work, running all over the slope and sometimes in harsh weather. For 18 years while I lived in this small town in Western New York, I volunteered to work with the Marketing Department, Training Center, and Ski School, in order to promote the Resort.
This has been a fun project because when content is as beautiful as this, it’s a pleasure to work with. I started by teaching the pilot how to edit the RAW images in Lightroom. That lead to large format prints… and the rest is history.
My local county executives asked if I could put together a video showcasing our regions attractions. “Learn Laugh Live and Play” was the tagline for this broadcast commercial that aired during a national golf event.
My task: take three stand up paddle boards on vacation with the Bacon family and make a promo video. Sure no problem! These boards are sweet… So beyond the care, set-up, and filming with my DSLR, art direction was given to my model family.
My task here was to take an existing HTML site and make it mobile responsive. So I built a WordPress site from scratch and made it a simple one page site. I did end up adding a few extra pages for contact and booking.
This project started as a simple landing page website, but turned into a portfolio showcase. A Wordpress theme with a special Portfolio section was used to cursor through the various properties. A special map plug-in was used for the apartment locator.
